22 Lever Street has been an independent, family-run business since 1984 and home to many of Manchester’s great creative and digital agencies over the years. It is much more than just a building, it is a community of friendly individuals right in the creative heart of Manchester.

Their online presence wasn’t living up to the fantastic reputation of the landlord, Derek, the gravitas of the Grade II listed building and the overall warmth of the community inside. Increasing enquiries was the main aim of the new website, as well as shout about the business’ strong family-led ethos.

There are many features and benefits of being a 22 Lever Street tenant which weren’t being displayed clearly on the previous website. It was important to pull these out and punctuate them with bespoke icons to drive more enquiries.

Developing a CMS for Derek to display available spaces with swift ease was imperative. Fantastic photography was also an important factor to entice prospective clients so once a new photoshoot of the building was complete, all office and studio spaces were uploaded as custom post types to allow Derek to simply pick and choose when to display them on the site.

We also created a bespoke interactive map of Manchester’s Northern Quarter to illustrate the central location of the building in relation to points of interest. Many of these were bars, restaurants and cafes we were missing tremendously during 2020!
