Background
Following the acquisition of Don’t be Shy and the integration of our Manchester team into the wider Lesniak Swann agency, we saw an opportunity to overhaul our digital presence.

Challenge
The existing website no longer reflected who we were. It felt outdated and failed to showcase Lesniak Swann’s 20+ years of B2B marketing expertise in the industrial sector.
There was also a clear disconnect between the agency’s brand campaigns and the website’s UI - creating a potential gap in trust and recognition for new and returning users.

Response
Lesniak Swann already had well-defined marketing personas, which we revisited during the insights and planning phase. Our aim was to better understand their needs and ensure the website resonated with them at every touchpoint.
As part of this process, we conducted user interviews with several current clients to uncover their pain points with the existing site. Their feedback provided valuable insight into usability issues, gaps in content, and areas where the site fell short in communicating our expertise.


Both personas shared a common priority: they needed confidence in our ability to deliver within complex, technical sectors and reassurance that we were a trusted, long-term partner.
We responded by embedding proof points throughout their journeys - case studies, thought leadership content, awards, client logos, and a clear explanation of our rigorous processes - all designed to build trust and credibility.

A core part of our web process involves component mapping sessions, where we use a flexible library of design components to structure each page on websites. This approach ensures every section has a clear purpose and engaging layout tailored to its content.



To elevate the visual experience, we introduced a dual dark and light mode UI - providing a modern, confident look while allowing our brand assets and case study imagery to shine. We also incorporated subtle animations throughout the site to enhance engagement, guide user focus, and create a more polished, responsive feel without overwhelming the content.


Results
Within the first six months of launch, the new site delivered a 43% increase in average session duration and a 62% rise in qualified leads via the website form.
